Home Mt. Sinai Project

Cardiovascular disease and related noncommunicable diseases were once considered a problem that only wealthy, industrialized nations faced. They now rank as the leading cause of death across the globe. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commissioned Scientific American to produce this magazine which delineates the 12 recommendations of the Institute of Medicine that are aimed both at creating awareness of the problem and describing methods of dealing with it.

This 80 Page magazine was produced for the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. 200,000 copies printed with worldwide distribution.
